DESCRIPTION In 1998 come true dreams of many X-Wing series fans. Old classic games X-Wing and TIE Fighter (both in Collector releases) were remade and released on Christmas market. New collection was called X-Wing Collector Series and contains X-Wing, TIE Fighter and special limited version of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter. Games were upgraded pro Windows 95/98 systems and have the same graphic engine as X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (resolution 640 x 480, 3D acceleration...). Various menus are also upgraded. Totally Games originally wanted to remake cut-scenes in both games, but it didn't happen. The only upgraded animations are X-Wing's intro (which was complete with some new frames), several animations in X-Wing and very few (almost none) in TIE Fighter. (X-Wing's intro was 'sharped' from resolution 320 x 200 to 640 x 480 looks very ugly.) The last part of collection called X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter Flight School is something like demo version of game and contains only 14 missions.
